The Kentucky Association of REALTORS held their 2009 Convention at the Galt House in Louisville, Kentucky. I was grateful for the opportunity to share some social media ideas that were approved for continuing education by the real estate commission. Those classes include “Blogging Effectively by Building Consumer Loyalty” and “Minimizing Risk and Power Prospecting and Renewing Referrals Using Social Media.
Every session I learn at least one thing from the people audience as they share what is working for them or something new that will benefit everyone in the group. My new friend David Ernst, a broker with RJ Thieneman Realty Group shared with me an awesome tip. If you have people that use Mafia Wars, or Vampire Wars and you don’t want to see those notifications on your home page choose the option to the right of the message, hide the item.
